About Us

Greg has had over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.  His expertise includes working with affluent investors in the areas of investment planning, estate planning strategies, risk analysis and wealth preservation.  As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Greg creates comprehensive investment plans that are developed from a thoughtful analysis of each client’s unique goals, values, aspirations and concerns.

Greg received an MBA with a designation in Financial Planning from California Lutheran University.  He also holds a degree in Business Administration and Finance from California State University, Northridge. Greg is actively involved with Team-In-Training, the world’s largest endurance sports training program founded to help support the  Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Greg is married to Cynthia, and they have two kids, Sophia and Luke.

Shawn began his financial career at UBS in 2000 and brings 25 years of experience to the practice.  His main focus includes asset management, alternative strategies, and access to lending through Wells Fargo affiliates.  

Before starting his career in the financial services industry, Shawn played Major League Baseball with the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets and Texas Rangers.  He prides himself on providing clients with the same discipline and commitment he incorporated into his successful career as a professional athlete.

Shawn attended Central Michigan University where he studied Business and Communications. 

He resides in Hancock Park, CA  with his wife Emily,  and two twins,  Morgan and Riley! He enjoys golf, snow skiing and spending time with his  children.

Maribel has been working in the financial services industry since 1994, and has worked with the The Hoelzel Hare Group since 2007.  She has multifaceted responsibilities which include oversight of the group’s operational and administrative activities.  She prides herself on providing the highest standard of service for the group’s clientele.

Maribel received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the College of La Paz.  Prior to working with the HJH Group, she was the Branch Administrator for Morgan Stanley’s Sherman Oaks Office.  Maribel and her husband, Gabriel have two sons, Alonso and Leonardo. When she’s able to take a break from her busy roles at work and at home, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading, beach vacations, wine tasting and travel.
